Ultimate Golds, Silver, & Mirror


Restorer Supplies is the "one stop" supplier of a wide range of restoration supplies such as Milliput, ColdGlaze, paints & pigments, Micro Mesh, Ultra Violet lights, Aztek airbrushes and accessories, UHU, Hxtal, Araldite 2020 and many other products. Ultimate Gold & Silver have been developed by Sylmasta to fulfill a void for high quality gold's. These gold’s and silvers are compatible with other Sylmasta products. They can be mixed with the dry pigments as well as the solvent-based acrylics (soon to be announced). As with other Sylmasta products, these gold’s can be thinned with the SAME thinner used for ColdGlaze, ChinaGlaze, ReNamel and solvent based Acrylic Paints.

Ulitmate Golds & Silver Set Ultimate Gold & Silver have been developed primarily for use in restoration, to overcome the difficulties in matching and applying a gold or silver finish and can be used internally and externally.

They provide a perfect, non-metallic finish and can easily be applied by either hand or airbrush.

Ultimate Gold & Silver are quick drying, after which no protective coats are required. Once dry, they can be hand washed.

The Ultimate Gold's have been successfully used by restorers to replace gold leaf and the silver has been used for repairs on Lladro.

All four golds can be intermixed to create virtually any golden tone. Microfine Colors can also be added.

The complete set consists of four gold's from a very pale to a deep rich color and one silver which is a good match to sterling silver.

To thin Ultimate Gold & Silver, use Sylmasta Thinner (the same thinner for ColdGlaze, ChinaGlaze & ReNamel).

Each jar contains 15 grams.

Ultimate Mirror - 15 ml Ultimate Mirror paint will replace the black marks in mirrors and will make a mirror out of any piece of glass.

For simple mirror repairs, expose the back of the mirror and clean away the damaged area.
With a soft brush, apply Ultimate Mirror to the exposed glass and allow to dry, if required, further coats can be applied once dry for even better results. Brush in one direction and do not over brush.

Ultimate Mirror is used in industry and the art world to easily make small mirrors of any shape, by simply applying to glass and allowing to dry.

Application can be by either soft brush or airbrush.
If using a hand brush, we would recommend a flat artist brush such as a Flat Bright 6.
